After the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat – National Health Protection Mission, the National Health Agency has launched a new website and helpline number for the PMJAY health scheme. Through this number or website, one can check if their names are on the final list or not. The Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana which aims to provide health insurance of Rs 5 Lakh annually to a total of over ten crore families in India came in effect on 23rd September. PM Narendra Modi launched this scheme with an agenda to aid the poor.
Ayushman Bharat Helpline Number to Check Eligibility For PMJAY
The site open to check for enrollment is mera.pmjay.gov.in, and this Mera PMJAY website is launched officially to make sure that the beneficiaries are not scammed by any other website in the name of this new scheme. Besides the website, we also have the helpline number 14555 for any queries.
Now to check your name on the beneficiary list, all one needs to do is to check through your mobile number where you will receive an OTP. Following on that, input the OTP on the site where needed and complete the KYC procedure. One can even call on the helpline number/ customer care toll-free number directly to check if their name is in the list or not.
Ayushman Mitras Help Desk
Looking to make things more comfortable, the scheme has also introduced “Ayushman Mitras” to help the people check their eligibility when going into a PMJAY scheme registered hospital. This new scheme will directly affect the poor, deprived families and as per the latest SECC data, it will identify urban working families, which includes 2.33 crore families in urban areas and 8.03 crore families in rural areas. This totals down to 10.36 crore families which eventually leads to some individuals exceeding 50 crores in India in total. Considering this is an annually renewing scheme, this is probably the most extensive government health aid scheme in the world right now.
